Often referred to as false teeth, dentures do not have roots for stability. They are not anchored to the bone or stabilized by it. They are prosthetic devices that are designed to replace missing teeth by resting on your gums. We want to ensure your new teeth look and feel as natural as possible. It’s important to secure the services of an experienced prosthodontist. They can ensure only the finest materials possible are used in designing your new teeth.
We design our full or complete dentures for individuals who are missing all of their teeth in the upper or lower arch. Conventional or removable ones are for patients missing some of their teeth on a particular arch. Fixed partials, also known as “crown and bridge”, are made from crowns that are fitted on the remaining teeth and are made from materials resembling the missing teeth. Fixed bridges are more expensive than removable, but are more stable.
There are many different designs for implant dentures, some of which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants. Your prosthodontist at Imagine Dental will be able to answer any of your questions about affordable dentures. They also help you determine which design will work best.

Full Dentures: These replace an entire arch of teeth (either the top, bottom, or both). They sit directly on the gums and stay in place via natural suction or a small amount of adhesive.
Partial Dentures: If you still have several healthy teeth, a partial is the way to go. It fills the gaps left by missing teeth and uses your natural teeth as anchors (usually with small, discreet clasps) to stay secure.
Nobody wants to leave the office without teeth. Immediate dentures are prepared before your extractions and are placed in your mouth the same day your teeth are removed. While they act as a great temporary solution while your gums heal, they usually require “relining” (adjusting) later because your jaw shape changes during the healing process
Yes, but there is a learning curve! We recommend starting with soft foods (like Arizona-style calabacitas or yogurt) and cutting food into small, manageable pieces.
Tip: Try to chew on both sides of your mouth simultaneously. This keeps the pressure even and prevents the dentures from tipping or sliding.
